Comments: Kind of inspired by The Invisible Wall. I haven’t written anything in months, so please pardon me if it kind of suck.
I thought that everything will always be good between us.
We were young as a couple, our passion still burning brightly, our hearts still tied to one another tightly to the point of infusing into one another.
We had promised ‘forever’ to each other, believing that our love was like no others, believing that our love can withstand the time limit, that the hearts can’t be pried apart even with a saw.
We’re a pair of fools to believe that.
However, time still plays a part in everything, whether they’re perishable or not, they’ll still decompose, because it’s just a matter of time.
I don’t know when, or maybe it’s because my eyes and my heart refuse to believe that fact, but you’re touches and you’re smiles becomes colder and colder, more and more distant.
Until one day where I can’t see that warming light that was you, then my mind finally opened. In the period of my blindness, a thin shield has grown between us. The shield slowly grew thicker into a wall, growing and growing until it covers you in a bubble.
It was too late by then.
“I’m sorry.”
Why’re you stupid?
“Forever is a dream.”
Man, I feel that the last sentence doesn’t have a lot of impact ._.
