[Modelpress] Actor Kento Yamazaki talked about happenings in their harmonious filming location.
Kento Yamazaki attended the full report press conference of the movie "Heroine Shikkaku" (To premiere on September 19) held in metropolitan area on June 21, 2015 with Mirei Kiritani and Kentaro Sakaguchi. He plays the role of a passionate young craftsman in the NHK Novel Drama "Mare", but he plays the role of Rita Terasaka, the childhood friend of the lead character -- female high school student Hatori Matsuzaki (Kiritani) whom she fells in love with on "Heroine Shikkaku", a movie rendition of Momoko Kouda's original comic work. Since his main outfit is a hooded jacket, many fans from the venue shouted "Kento-kun!", "Rita!" in high-pitched voices when he stood on stage wearing a school uniform.

While Yamazaki was talking about his preparations for this role, he also looked back to when they were filming during the cold season, "It was very cold. At the pedestrian overpass scene, Rita said a very good thing, but the reinforced concrete of that pedestrian overpass was so cold, as if I was sitting on top of the ice", he confessed his hardships. When he revealed that he had been shivering while filming that scene, Kiritani said, "Since then, we have been calling him 'Bambi' (LOL)". He was nicknamed after a newly-born baby deer (from a cartoon) and it conveys a harmonious atmosphere in their filming location.
Regarding the very passionate feeling of Hatori towards love, Yamazaki expressed his viewpoint about love, "She does not hide anything and that makes her adorable. I think her enthusiasm in everything is a very great thing. I like Hatori. She is very charming.
"There are no boring scenes. You will laugh, the characters in the story all have their own personalities. We made it very exciting", confidently, he said.
Director Tsutomu Hanabusa, who brought a megaphone, also attended the press conference. "I love Kento. He is a friendly and a good guy. He wanted to fool around on funny scenes so we stopped that", he revealed Yamazaki's innocent personally.
