On dwelling on the past

It appears to me that if you find yourself thinking about a previous time or place, it should serve as a reminder that you are missing something in your present.

Instead of dwelling on the past, you should change the present to pull in more of whatever you were missing.

When this happens to me, it causes me to refocus on what I'm actually trying to create in the present. Many times, I just need to be reminded of where my priorities lie.
