12. Mirrors 3/5 I totally expected this to be a crappy horror piece of crap and I was  a little nervous that it starred Jack Bauer from 24. It starts extremely cheezily and predictably; a former undercover cop is trying to clean up his life after being kicked off "the force" for accidentally shooting another cop, turning to TEH BOOZERS and ruining his marriage. We find him living with his sister, Amy Smart, and we know it's his sister because he callse her "sis", she has a picture of him kissing her cheek, and she says in one of the first scenes"I'm your little sister"
This might seem like overkill but the fact is that Amy Smart-who is five days older than your narrator, looks less than half Keifer's age and her casting as the role of "sister" makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, so in order to drive in the fact that he's not actually sleeping with the girl while on hiatus from his marriage, they need to constantly repeat that fact. It was a little distracting, minus one point from 5 for that.
So, in order to supplement his police officer's pensions to support his two kids, he takes a job on the set of Hotel for Dog(I am serious about this, I know it's the same set and few people would be likely to see both these movies so I'm sure it saved some cash, but it was also slightly distracting-1point for that).
But there had been a fire so it's all creepy-like. He has to patrol it in the dark at night(a'la Ben Stiller)...hilarity ensues.
I love a horror movie to turn into a solveable mystery, and Mirrors does that. It encorporates religios themes, also a plus and ties up well at the un-predictable ending.

Mirrors=(Night At The Museum- the monkey)+Jack Bauer +Poltergeist

13.WITWIOBL 4/5 I took one point away from the most likeable doc guy I know(which means he's Morgan Spurlock is marginally more likeable than Michael Moore) because it was a little anti climactic and although the whole point of the film is to hear the viewpoints of people most affected by the war on terror and Osama Bin Laden, he could have added a little more commentary-a little more news clips of American perspectives to contrast perhaps.
I loved all the places he went; Egypt, Morrocco, Saudi, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and it was amazing how his personality allowed people to open up to him and give their perspective. I was surpriesd mostly by how adversarial the Hassidic people in Israel were towards him.
On the other side of the world his wife is pregnant and worrying about his safety and if he'll make it back in time for the birth. I think having a child coming into the world drives home the importance of healthy global relationships in the future. From my experiences being a foreigner and being an American foreigner, it's not always easy to get people to open up to you and I think Spurlock has the perfect disposition for this project, plus it was fun to watch, with silly graphics and a light sense of humor amidst all the heavy shit.

Also we got to witness the progression of his sexy handlebar mustache into a full Islamic Beard. H0tt.

The ending was actually sad because you find out he named his baby boy "Laken", like on of Sarah Palin's kids. wierd.

Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden= Farenheit 9/11X Super Size Me+The Aristocrats+Grand Theft Auto(the video game).
