It's been awhile since I've actually updated this thing so I guess it's about time!
I went to Mississippi this summer for a week to help rebuild homes for the Hurricane Katrina victims. It was probably the best week I had all summer and I would go back in a heartbeat. I can't even begin to describe how much I learned and saw on that trip. The people were awesome too! (Most of them at least) ;)
I got a car! It's a 2002 Chrysler Sebring and it's grayish-blue. I love it!
Today was the first day of class and so far so good. Started out with Humanistic Studies, High Society which is a class based on the aristocracy in England during the medieval times/middle ages. I think it will be a good class because that sort of stuff is fascinating to me.
I'm glad I decided to cut my losses and drop Advanced Spanish. It probably would have screwed up my gpa and screwed me out of Rome. It is kind of disappointing that after almost 6 years of taking the language I'm calling it quits though, at least for now!
Speaking of Rome, I went to my first Italian class and my teacher is awesome! He's a "natural born actor" (because according to him all italians are) and very enthusiastic about the course which is good. It should be a good class and I'm looking forward to starting out fresh with a new language.
My last class of the day was Finite Mathematics. Blah. Math is well, math. And that's about that. One of those classes to get through for the Gen Ed, but it shouldn't be too bad. The stuff we'll be doing seems somewhat basic so woot!
My Psychology class tomorrow should be interesting as well. Theories of personality, now there are definately some people I know who would make interesting cases hahaha :P
Work starts tomorrow too! It's back to the ol' Cyber Cafe to save the day once more!
That's about it for now and I think it's time for sleep
