It could have been that you just did this to me, but it seemed like when I didn't know something that you DID know (which was fairly often), you got all incredulous and "I can't believe you don't know that, hahah." Specifically, I think of a few times in precalc where I'd be stuck somewhere, and you'd say something along the lines of "Well, you can just do this. Don't you know how to do that?" I've been paraphrasing here, of course, but that's the general impression I got.

i see what you're saying, but consider: i haven't had (for example) math with you guys ever, i don't know what you know. i always thought i was too stupid for you guys so i'm always a little amazed, that's all. now that i've had a year with you guys i feel like i fit in a little better, so the stuff that i think you're talking about won't happen.
plus, i'm definitely clueless to the stuff you guys do and know, so i just don't express my surprise in a way that is apparently amicable to you. but its never because i feel like i'm better than you. please know that.
