The new single [Going!] finally will be released ( T.N:*interview was performed before the release of Going!), please tell us your impression and image of this song.
Taguchi: We picked this song among the 10 songs (samples). It gives a new feeling. We listened to the other songs as well, but this feels different than the songs we have done so far.
Kamenashi: This song is chosen with no objection, it was decided on the same day that we listened to it. (But) The song lyrics turned out differently.
Taguchi: We changed it (the lyrics) about three times.
Tanaka: Initially it was love story. Then, (we thought) we want to include/do a "cheering song", it became more related to sports (laugh). We requested for a cheering song that could cheer anyone.

Although we tried our best to translated any baseball terms, we are claiming no comprehensive and encompassing knowledge on baseball, thus if anyone has better translation to any of baseball terms please do let us know ^^
(3) 萌え (moe) could mean several things, e.g. sprouting, budding, crush (for anime), fascination, infatuation. Given the context, we assume that KT used this term in anime kind of way, where the characters will go moe if she/he/they see something that they really like. In order not to loose the subtlety of this word, we decided to leave it untranslated.
(4) This part is a bit confusing because of the word 特効 which means specific effectiveness/of particular efficacy. Here we assume that Koki meant special effect as the kanji consist of two common kanji used for the word special effect.
