Yay 2 ½ months since my last update.

Rest of September

Not too much happened at the end of September at least nothing that I can remember.

October

Nothing much at the beginning of the month happened. I took some time off in the middle of the month for when Maer came down for our yearly trip to Evansville. The overnight was pretty uneventful for most of us. I did end up with my picture in the local paper and a blurb about an experiment I was help setting up. http://www.courierpress.com/news/2007/oct/22/ghost-hunters-descend-on-willard/
On my first day back to work after my vacation I was getting ready to leave for work and my car failed to start I called a tow truck and had it towed back to the dealership I bought it at. It turned out that my fuel pump had gone out and I ended up taking another day off to get it replaced. Luckily it was still covered under the warranty and I was spared the $450 repair bill. Some where in there I replaced my furnace filter I will have to remember to do the small house things like that from now on too.

November

At some time I came across this site http://www.thewebcomiclist.com/ and started reading a larger quantity of web comics. Some are good but most are bleh, but it is nice to have a site like that to browse through and look at most of the web comics that are out there.
Thanksgiving was pretty much standard gatherings for both my Mom and Dads side of the family. At my Moms gathering I was given an official invitation to one of my cousin’s weddings which is going to be on New Years Eve with a big party afterwards into the New Year. My brother Tony in Okinawa gave us a call and I got to talk to him a bit which was nice since I haven’t had much of a chance to talk to him online for a few months. It seems that they are going to adopt one of his wife’s nieces who is 12 years old (she is Philippino and they have to many kids to take care of them all so my brother is thinking of adopting her). At my Dad's gathering I got to see my sister Emily and her husband Scott I haven’t seen them since Easter so was nice to see them again. We made plans for them and my other sister and family to come by my house since neither of them have seen it yet. First we went out to eat and then came back to my place and walked them through the house and spent most of the time down in the basement. My nieces mostly played with the pool table and I ended up playing the un-edited version of Lord of the Rings with my projector.
During this month I somehow got hooked back onto Smallville and ended watching all of it up to the current released episode. I had only watched the first seasons when it first came out, but stopped for some reason after that. It was pretty interesting to see how everything progressed over the years.

There is only one thing worse then mowing the yard and that is raking it. I found this out the past couple weeks. Fort Wayne has scheduled times for when they pick up the leaves and I tried to put some time aside to get the leaves raked up and moved to the front (most of my leaves are from the 3 trees I have in the back yard). I was able to get about half the leaves raked into small piles and some of them moved to the front of the house then my tarp I was using ripped (it was an cheap old one that was left behind in the house). Then it started raining or sleeting during the rest of the free times I had to get it finished. I was able to go out and get a new tarp on a nice clear day, and by the time I came home with it the work crews had already piled up all the leaves in my area and where picking them up. Oh well I was able to at least get my branches broken down and picked up this time around. Our area is scheduled for one more pick up time in December so I have to finish it up before then.

Still planning the party for December 27th (which is a Thursday) for Rich. I need to get a hold of him to make sure everything is still a go and start contacting/inviting people. Rich if you read this shoot me an email or give me a call.

Speaking of the party I think I have a good start on my bar stock. I pretty much have the hard liquor part of my bar stocked now and went out and bought various glasses too. Below is a list of the alcohol that I have right now.

Kahlua
RonRico Citrus Rum
Jose Cuervo Clasico
Gordons London Dry Gin
Absolut Vodka (40 & 50 Proof)
Tequila Rose Cocoa Cream
EJ Brandy
Smirnoff Strawberry Vodka

Well that is pretty much my update for now I’ll try to post something else later if possible but don’t have to much time to be on LJ lately. As always you can always give me a call or catch me on an IM during the evenings.
