The saddest thing
В радиоинтервью Трамп поделился своей главной болью -- он не может вмешиваться в деятельность Department of Justice и FBI.
Отсюда: The saddest thing is because I'm the President of the united States, I'm not supposed to be involved in the Justice Department. I am not supposed to be involved in the FBI. I'm not supposed to be doing the kinds of things I would love to be doing and I'm very frustrated by it.
I look at what's going on with the Justice Department. Well, why aren't they going after Hillary Clinton with her emails and dossier? And the kind of money. I don't know is it possible that they paid $12.4 million for the dossier and which is total phony, fake. And how is it used. And you know, it's very discouraging to me. To be honest I'm very unhappy about it. As a president you're not supposed to be involved in that process. But hopefully are doing something. At some point maybe we're all going to have it out.

Update: Добавлю сюда комментарий Фрума из его Твиттера: President Trump is changing us. Had any predecessor said the things about FBI Trump said this AM, the country would have been convulsed.
But now, it’s just: “Oh well, sometimes the president says things. It’s only noise. He probably won’t arrest anybody. On to tax reform.”
It’s working. Half our political system is enabling presidential lawlessness; the other half is shrugging.
