This was soooo awesome!!! What a great coda of that episode. I loved the H/C, Clark's long vigil, his (finally and about time) introspection. I'm sorry you waited two years before posting, but I'm glad your frinds convinced you to go ahead. You should crosspost to some of the bigger communities, such as sv_fanfic or sv_slash. They'd love it too. I hope you write more.

I have... um... I think seven other Smallville fics in progress, but most of them are episode codas or missing scenes. You've definitely inspired me to dust them off and work on them now, though!

Good for you! Seven more? Whee! I'll look forward to those. I love codas. SV has so many blank spots in it's episodes (well all TV shows do really) and so much goo stuff can fit in there. I've only done one myself and have thought about doing others, but it's been so long since I really watched any episodes. I sometimes think of rewatching them so I can do stories around those "missing" scenes, but so far no go. Good luck with the dusting!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I never understood why he didn't stick around when he could have explained his presence there perfectly normally. Also, the show actually cut from Clark finding Lex in the morning to him finding Jason at night. WTF? LOL. It was begging to be written. Thanks for reading.
