That was adorable!!
The christmas tree with legs, Jack playing "Stille Nacht" (weee, German!) on the piano, the sugar stick (very very ambiguous *grins*) - everything was so lovely!! And it even had amazingly flagitous wig abuse!! I wish I could see that christmas tree!

yakkorat:Thank you so much, darling! I'm glad you used those particular adjectives. "Warm" was really the goal, and it's so gratifying to know that I achieved it.
The wig on the tree was the birth idea of the whole fic. LOL. Originally, the sugar stick was going to be a seperate story, a Jack/Will, actually. But James appropriated it. Maybe "confiscated" would be the better word, though I'm sure Jack would say "comandeered." LOL.
As for the historical reference, though I did my homework on the tree, wliberation has disagreed with my timelines, and though the few sites I found assured me this was possible, she/he has other information. Since my research was a rush job, I'm willing to concede defeat on this one. LOL. But if you get curious and decide to look into it on your own, by all means, let me know what you ( ... )
