With all the brouhaha over Steve Jobs and his apparent liver transplant, it demonstrates a key reality that I've had to keep in mind: people like Jobs have access to any health care they need because they have money. Despite the other brouhaha going on with regard to health care reform, I really do have one major health-changing event between life and death, regardless of any apparent solvency or other factors.

I suppose this is the part where I conclude by pointing my insignificant finger at any number of wealthy behemoths. (Who do you want to pick on today?) Change isn't instant. Unfortunately, I'll probably die before change arrives. And that's the way it is.
