Quick word on automakers and my car
Glad I got to know Toyota via Scion. And if Toyota ever stops working for me, Honda's right there! In two days, I will have had my car one year, and the fact I can get behind the wheel today and say, "I love this car" is still awesome.
What prompted this musing? GM threatening to export manufacturing of vehicles to China, basically. It'll be my grave before I buy a Ford. Chrysler hasn't had a chance to get any decisive mindshare one way or another with me, but my limited experiences haven't been so good. But it's mostly GM and the possibility of having "American" cars with 100% Chinese parts that are MADE in China that really got me thinking that my decision last year was much more sound than I already knew.
