Alas, all good things must come to an end.
I finished Halo 2 today and felt that familiar, bittersweet sense of accomplishment and sadness. I love finishing games, because that obviously means you get to see the final piece of the story. At the same time, it's also an end to a really good game. Sure, you can play it over again, but it's never the same. You already know what's going to happen story-wise, so all that's left is the challenge of playing on harder difficulty settings, if they're available.
The story was good, though the ending was a bit disconcerting. It seems to be another cliffhanger ending, so maybe the world will be blessed with a third installment to the Halo series. One can only hope.
I suppose World of Warcraft will once again get my undivided attention, for the most part, in terms of gaming time.
