Anyone else out there a fan of Master Chief, Frank Castle or Riddick? =(

I was talking about said characters with Gina last night (from Halo, The Punisher and Pitch Black/The Chronicles of Riddick, respectively), and she said none of those characters have a personality, and they're all exactly the same. =( I don't agree with her.

Frank Castle is a man on a mission to avenge his family, whom were killed by this hitman dude and his thugs. I've never read the comic, but the movie, in my opinion, was awesome. He kills anyone that stands in his way, and anyone that was involved in the assassination of his family.

Riddick is just a murderer, period. He's nearly insane, but very capable, and very, very intelligent. He's an outlaw, hunted across the galaxy by mercenaries out to collect his bounty. Naturally, none of them do. =) Because he's Riddick, and he's cool that way. But he does help people (on numerous occasions), because he does still have a heart and a shred of his humanity left. So now he only kills mean people that try to hurt him or his friends. =(

Master Chief is just a military genius with a hair-trigger. :D He likes to blow shit up (mostly aliens), and he's damn good at it! No revenge/murder trait here. He's just protecting Earth from the Covenant and the Flood.

Gina says they have no personalities, simply because none of them say much. With characters such as these, I think their actions speak much louder than their words, so they don't feel the need to say a whole lot.

Does someone need to be social to have a unique personality? =(
