Thanks! :D Obviously it would look much better if we could use NURBS, or even use more polygons, but eh. S'not bad, for a low-res model.

Ooh! That looks cool. And it's your first model too. :O! When you learn how to apply textures and UV maps, should post another model that's fully texturized and mapped.

It wasn't that tough, really. The hardest part was duplicating the fan blades and then connecting them all individually to the axle.

Your 3D foundations class seems different than mine. Mine is more of a art history course. ;_;

Weeeeell, we do have an art history class further down the line, so this one focuses on its premise -- 3D foundations. The course basically teaches us all the fundamentals of Maya and how the different tools work. It's an awesome class, I'm loving it.

lol! That's Full Sail for ya. XD First day of class, and we're thrown right into the middle of Maya and told to model a prop for a six-second short. >.>; It's tough love, but it's very effective! Fun as hell, too.
