The move.
It's done, all over. We've moved into the new(er) building across the street.
It's cleaner, it looks better, it's newer, it's bug-free (thus far), and I'm not in the very back of the office anymore. My desk is much nicer, and I don't have spider webs under it now! Seriously, my "desk" in the other office was just a countertop drilled into the wall and supported by metal beams. The building was so old, it was literally falling apart. I hope I'm at work the day the crew comes to tear it down to build a parking lot in its place. O, how glorious the day will be. I hate that building. It stinks, too.
In other news, my kitties are doing fine. They're growing up very quickly, in fact. They're only six months old now, but when I look at the old photos I took of them I'm amazed at how much they've grown in such a short time. They're spoiled to death, too. x_X; I can't even sit down without having Danny in my lap, meowing and purring. Leera isn't so bad, but they both have to sleep with me. When they know I'm laying down to go to sleep, they wait next to me until I'm comfy, then jump up on my chest and curl up for a nap.
I have yet to get a reply on my grant/loan applications, but I am ever hopeful. I may have already mentioned this, but I hope to start school during the January 2006 semester. We shall see.
