(no subject)
well....my life..
I'm working now..
working with kids..
the kids are awesome..(except the one trouble maker..who always exists)
I've been working hard..
it's a fun job though
I have today off..because I have to work this weekend
I'm spending the day cleaning
boy I love days off
I had a party on saturday night
I was kinda disappointed..
not many of my *true friends* came
but nevertheless..it was a small party
with a bunch of awesome people
very relaxed and laid back
any more people and the type of party would have changed
steve drove in from PA to be at my party.. and lauren came from the toronto area
both good friends
I was soo happy to see them both
anyway..sunday.. I woke up
(without a hang over..shockingly)
and marty and I took steve and lauren to the glen
and did a little climbing
on the way back we grabbed some much needed ice cream
(it was too damn hot)
and dropped lauren off at the bus station
we got back to my house at about 7pm
and it was time for steve to get going back to PA
we said our goodbyes and off he went
I went over to marty's and stayed the night there
he drove me to work in the morning
yesterday was my bday
so marty took me to la costa for dinner
(a very expensive and tastey restaurant)
then out to play pool
(I kicked his ass)
I had my first.. (and second) legal drink
and showed my REAL id for the first time
(at la costa I didn't get id'ed)
marty and I are going strong
despite a few rough patches
I'm really lucky to have him
things are seemingly going quite well these days
(it's scary to say that.. tempting the gods to change it lol)
I'm half waiting for it all to crash again
