(no subject)
Wow I haven't written in this fella in a LONG while... I think I should start back up, Its the one place I can usually get out my feelings instead of this myspace and facebook crap (which by the way I love too) ... I looked back at my previous entries and see that they are all from my freshman year (some pics from senior year in high school, which is very outdated) ... As I am currently waiting on getting a charger for my digital camera I won't have too many pics to add quite yet but just for everyone to know they will be coming... This is sort of a precursor to what is to come in the new improved LiveJournal of Laura Sanders Rankin.
Well Sophomore year came around, with its very own set of ups and downs, thank god their not like last years. My thanks for that! The biggest stresses I've really had were getting work done, finals and the occasional friend drama ... Oh and the fact that I miss home terribly BUT ever since last spring I'd have to say I absolutely adore Santa Barbara and its inhabitants. That said I look forward to more than anything getting back to the Northwest for Spring Break... My plans are to finish up finals week down here with flying colors, fly home ... yada yada yada, go up to the most amazing place in the world, the San Juan Islands, veg with friends up there, head home and catch the tulip fields in the Skagit Valley as well as potentially spend an afternoon in beautiful Seattle (my fave city by far) before driving over the pass to ol'Yakima in hopes of finding a summer job (wish me luck? a job in yakima?)... yes that about sums up my exciting spring break! Oh throw in a few belligerent nights of hot-tubing and taboo and you got yourself a great spring break! Oh yes and we cannot forget about Easter Sunday w/the fam and half of Yakima... good times to be had wine tasting with uncle craig and vodka grapefruits & vodka cranberry (with the mom/dad) and maybe a jello easter egg here and there...
... Until then I'm off to finish my geography study guide (why on earth am I taking geography? oh wait G.E.s) CIAO!
