I am home!! I got my heparin to inject myself, and then was sent home. Next Thursday I go to Prien for rehab, but now I have a few days to re-tame my feral cats.

Lucifer loves me, but Mephisto is horrified the time of feline rule and freedom is over.-

I'm still re-taming Mephisto, but we are making progress.

Mephisto is tame again as well; he let me touch him again, too.

He's seen the advantage of having a human around again: getting tiny pieces of bacon off the tarte flambée the human was having for lunch.

I don't let my cats sleep in my bed at night, but they do get the odd scraps (usually tiny scraps of bacon if there is any) off the table.

Yes, Mephi is strange that way; Lucifer, in comparison, is positively canine in his open affection and the way he obeys me and follows me around.

As I am going to be shipped to rehab on Thursday, I will be taken care of anyway.

But until then, I'll make sure I walk enough every day and keep moving.
