Into the Wilderness

Finally finished the next chapter of "Pull Down the World", and a new KOST drabble as well (Haku x Zabusa). But wouldn't you know, ff.net isn't letting me upload new stories for whatever reason. So I'll be getting them up online whenever I have the chance which, hopefully, will be sooner rather than later.

As for the new GinRan chapter, for anyone wondering, the Old Man is a clear rip from the Japanese Inari mythology, down to the two white foxes that follow him around. The foxes have names typical of celestial kitsune, which is to say verbs in the masu-stem form. The foxes' names, Omohi and Oboyi, are derived from the old form of two common modern Japanese verbs: omou (to think) and oboeru (to remember). So yes, their names are Thought and Memory. There was a very nice symmetry to be found in connecting the foxes of the Inari mythology to Huginn and Muninn, the twin ravens that accompanied Odin. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the new chapter there, and the new KOST (though to be honest, I don't know who's going to laugh at my take on emo-Haku). I'll post the links here after ff.net lets me post stories again.

UPDATE: I wrote a new KOST chapter while I was waiting. This one focuses on the Sound Five, and another one of Orochimaru's stranger orders. Hope you all enjoy it!
