What we have here is the top 106 books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing's users. As in, they sit on the shelf to make you look smart or well-rounded. I intend to pick up C&P one day,as I've gotten really into Dostoevsky in the last year or so. I really,really enjoyed Notes From Underground. Brothers Karamazov was good,too,even though it took me six months to finish. ^^/;;

Never heard of Portrait,though...I'm sure one day I'll come across a musty old copy for seventy-five cents and pick it up.
