Final Fantasy VII- Prototype

The game came and I played it a bit...

Basically, the game contains the "Final Fantasy VI: Interactive" presentation that was displayed at the Siggraph Show in 1995, and is about 3 or so minutes long. It's kind of neat that they included that on the disc.

As for the "Final Fantasy VII" content, I've played some of it, and it seems to be fairly long (I played for over an hour and have yet to get to the end of it). Also, I noticed some differences in the game- one is obvious- Aeris is a playable character and is in your party in the very beginning of the game. The plot reason for this is something I'm not exactly certain for yet (I'll have to play it through a bit more in order to find out).

Anyway, the content seems a bit different from the final release, and from what I heard, this specific disc is quite rare. Regardless, in response to those who asked why I would spend that kind of money on it- I can afford to and I'm a collector (I have other pre-releases and demo carts).

Here are some screenshots taken of the game while running it on my PC via emulation (notice the copyright date of 1996 for FF7, when the game wasn't actually released until 1997):
