Happy Independence Day! Happy 230th America!

Today is the United States' 230th birthday, so-to-speak, with the signing of the Declaration of Independence having occured on July 4, 1776.  It is a time when many people take vacations or spend a much needed day off relaxing and/or spending time with family and friends, so I hope all of you are having a good time!

Today I went with my family to see Superman Returns, a movie which was nearly three hours long (160 minutes) and full of action and plot!  It's good to see the iconic hero return to the big screen after such a hiatus, and the movie supplies a good deal of back-story and leaves room for a sequel (or several!).  I'd definitely give this one an A and recommend going to see it whenever you get a chance!

Today I also went live with an RPG I've been creating with RPG Maker XP, a program created by Enterbrain.  My game is called the Wizardry Wars and is based on a short story I wrote a couple years back (and even posted some of on here).  My game takes place in a world torn apart by conflict between magical and non-magical people, the culmination being the Wizardry Wars, which stood as a testament to the power of magic and totalitarian government.  In the present time, many societies fear magic-users, believing that they will once again rise up and enslave the populations of the world.  It is set in a medieval-like world, but the setting is rather unique in places (or it will be).

For more information, check out the page that I created for it (and if you have RPG Maker XP, download the game via the link on the page!):

I posted the game on both RPG Maker XP's Bulliten Board section as well as their Web Page section, so hopefully I'll get some feedback from gamer's as I continue to work on Demo 2.

Well, that's about all I have for tonight!

Adieu for now!
