But "Ugly Betty" was always a very joyous show for me to watch, and Betty/Daniel has been my id ship for about four years, so I make no excuses: This fic is all about the happy happy joy joy. I love this story so far! There are so many conversations here that I wanted to see them have. I don't really buy the giant, immediate love declarations and instant coupledom. This stumbling awkwardness seems exactly right to me.

This makes me sad. I didn't find your crossover harsh or unsentimental. In fact, I thought it was awesome. As I said in my feedback then, I haven't watched much Dr. Who (perhaps an episode or two), but I didn't feel like I needed to know much. I thought your story was very self-explanatory and I loved how deftly you wove it into the S&S timeline. It was awesome!!!

So boo to anyone who said differently.

You, madam, are my hero! This story is everything I wanted the finale to be: every significant character, past and present, getting not just a moment, but a resolution to their arc in a thoughtful, unhurried manner. And I'm only a quarter of the way in! It can only get better.

Oh, Amanda! It's so great to see some men fight over how awesome she is for a change! And the exchange between Matt and Tyler was perfect: they're a lot more similar in temperament than Tyler and Daniel, and so they would be more comfortable with each other.

Oh, and just so you know, the reference to Oshi? Made my heart grow about ten sizes. Great, great nod to continuity. (Though now I have his wretched theme song in my head and it will notgo away.)
