Ok, so I know I bitched a lot about work recently, and believe me, it was warranted, HOWEVER, when your boss calls you at home on a weekend and randomly tells you that you are getting a 25% raise AND that it took effect the week before and will be prorated, it all seems worth it somehow.
This is all going to add to my financial turnaround. I'm getting $2500 back between my tax return, my student loan, and my Christmas bonus (being paid in March... don't ask. see above comment about bitching, and believe me, that wasn't even a 10th of what was bothering me.) So my debt will go way down and my income has gone way up. I could probably afford to move out at this point if I worked full time, and possibly even only working 32 hours if I got roomies. I'm really picky about who I'll live with tho, so I'd have to think about that carefully...
Today is a holiday which means time and a half, and since said raise has taken effect, I'm making as much as my dad today haha.
I'm a happy camper, and won't bitch about work... for a little while at least. ;)
P.S. I want a RAZR phone so bad! Would anyone here recommend Verizon? Because my contract is up with Sprint in September... and I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to renew with them.
