There is so much to say! This post has been pending for a while, but I just couldn't find the time/energy to write it.

Labor Day weekend was as a whole one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. We had a family reunion at my grandma's house, and it was amazing! I have so many relatives that I have never met or gotten to know, it was sweet to just relax and have fun with them for an extra long weekend after the hectic and trying first week of school. Not to mention all the adventure! I cannot possibly explain all the awesome craziness, so I'm just gonna make a list of things that were sweet:
zip line...breaking the zip line --what a thrill
little cousins following me everywhere
finishing the well FINALLY!!!
quiet bonfires that lasted long into the night
hilarious stories of relatives' youthful rabble-rousing
spending my nights in a hammock in a horse trailer in the solitude of nature
awesome nights with God under the stars

The next weekend was pretty sweet too, it was my last weekend as a teenager. I has a lovely night by the fire with some unexpected friends, and a crazy night of swimming in Lake Michigan in the rain with my room mate. It was nothing spectacular, but a satisfying close to my teen years. For my birthday I brought my parents to G Rap for dinner, and my room mate threw me a surprise party, it was soooo nice! It was a good day, Mom bought me a sweet lamp for my dorm.

I can't wait for this semester to be over! I decided that living in dorms doesn't really work for me, 'bipolar Mondays' are ridiculous, I'm sick of the food, I'm sick of my room mate, and I'm paying too much.

So cold are the waves
The rocking gull can scarcely
Fold itself to sleep.

It's all good though, tonight is lovely, crisp and rainy, I have no homework right now, and tomorrow I get to go to Fremont and spend some time with God.

Also I LOVE LOVE LOVE being an Impact leader!!! I love those girls, and I'm having soooo much fun! the kickoff party rocked, battlefield live was hardcore, and boxing night was sweet, I never thought poking holes in cardboard with my ear ring could be so much fun. Not to mention I got to sleep by the fire in the open air. Holloweekends in two weeks!!!!!
