A Tita!
On Friday after Z got out of school she and I hopped in the van and headed up to Nanaimo, Z to meet her grandparents and continue up to Campbell River, and me to visit my best friend. Thursday night and Friday morning I was a bit worried about snow interfering with the drive, but by Friday afternoon the roads were completely clear and dry.
I had a great visit- watched some Newsradio and some movies, and did a bunch of catching up. Tita gave me a Valentine's present of a book of Kakuro puzzles. We played with Play Doh at one point, and instead of sculpting it, I pressed it into a flat square and folded it into an origami crane, which batto_man kindly photographed for me:
Sunday night I went to Hartwood dance practice, which was quite well attended, and I taught a few dances (Greenwood, Oranges and Lemons, and Hole in the Wall). Then Monday afternoon I met up with Z and we came home.
