I've been somewhat prolific with origami design lately.
It started out with me wanting to make an origami swallow for
canzonet for Valentine's Day. I looked around, but the only one I could find online was
this one, and I really wasn't pleased with it after folding it a couple times. So I designed my own.

After making the swallow, I decided to play with the same base folds a bit more and see what else I could come up with. After playing with the paper a bit, an angel appeared. I streamlined the design a bit and ended up with this:
Further playing with that base, through some extreme celestial coincidence, turned up a demon:
And, for an
Origami Design Challenge I've set up in
origami_club, I designed a banana. First I made it with 2 pieces of paper, one white, one yellow. I was surprised at how well the locking mechanism I came up with worked to hold the two pieces together.
