Um... brrr
So it snowed the other day and it was so pretty! I played in it some with the kiddies down the street and had so much fun running around and things! Made a snow angle in my driveway a few hours later as there was a good inch on the driveway as well. There was still quite a bit left on my car yesterday when I left for work, but it seems almost like a dream because everything melted throughout the day yesterday. However, I've been looking at the weather and it says a 60% chance of rain/snow tonight and a 70% chance tomorrow which is kind of nice (with little/no accumulation). However, at work I have an 8am meeting tomorrow morning and... I don't know, sometimes managers in restaurants can be really rude about the weather and things. Like, my manager at Pappadeaux one time was like "I dont' understand why all of my servers are calling in saying "I can't get to work" when everyone in the kitchen is here." Um, well... they ALSO get paid by the hour regardless if people walk in the door or not! Anyway, I just don't know if my manager would give me a hard time. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem driving in snow and things, the problem is that the high on Saturday is 37/lo of 19... tonight is going to be right at freezing. The problem is that my parents house sits on a hill and I may not be able to drive down it and if I can, I may not be able to drive up the hill out of the neighborhood... my job isn't that important to me.The hi tomorrow is 42... it's gotten COLD!
Anyway, just venting/sharing. I should get ready for work today but have woken up lacking ambition today. Have to work a double today and a double tomorrow (following the 8am meeting... that's gonna be a hella long day) and Sunday morning.
In other news, I went to Smith's Olde Bar Tuesday night to hear my friends band perform and it was a lot of fun. Had i been driving, I'm sure I would've driven right past it and not known! They played really well the other night and I think they feel good about things now.
