Yay for awesome lesson days!
During my practice time today (8-9:50am ick) I can honestly say I was not looking forward to my lesson this afternoon. (And yes Nikki I remembered it was at 2pm and not 3pm.) Although I did manage to get that not so nice lick in Variations on a Korean Folk Song down a heck of a lot better, now I only miss 3 out of 10 times as opposed to every freaking time I play it. Anyway when I did get to lesson I actually played well, like I even sight read better than I had ever. So I was definitely in a happy mood.
Also I kind of bombed my first QTQ just because I wasn't being as careful as I should have been. *blech* But I did go over it and redo everything on my own and fixed it all, took it back to Dr. Tate and she confirmed that I did indeed understand what was going on. *smile* So now I just have to take my time, remember all the rules, and look to make sure I didn't miss any accidentals.
Things are finally starting to look up in theory! Woot!
