Long lines at Gas Pump in Charlotte

Charlotte is suffering from a serious gas shortage. The problem is mainly public panic fearing shortages so most people flooded the gas stations which actually caused the shortage. Every gas station in Charlotte is either empty or has 500 cars surrounding it. The two stations in downtown Matthews were so overcrowded that you couldn't drive through the intersection.

Also every station has a couple police officers standing guard with patrol cars blocking off the exits so no one steals or gets into a fight with a line cutter.

I drove down 77 to Love's Gas across the SC border and got gas with no problem. The station was crowded, but no lines and I didn't have to wait. But when I exited the station a line of cars and trucks had just formed at the entrance.
