 As much as the second draft edits are going to suck, I'm really, really excited about finishing this book in the next few months. I have a lot of really exciting scenes ahead of me, and I can't wait to write them.

(Although the problem with the really exciting scenes is that the excitement fills you up with so much energy that you don't even want to write.)
