Can you feel the tension in the air?

Well this past week or so has been pretty eventful.

Last Wednesday I met Ryan, Jayme, and the new intern, Kirsten, for lunch at Chick fil A. We ate then went back to the Sportsplex and played basketball and threw the baseball for a little bit and then I watched the Chelsea - Manchester United soccer match which ended in travesty...a Manchester United win when Cristiano Ronaldo missed another PK after both extra time sessions. Later that evening I met Jayme and Kirsten over at Ben & Jerry's in the newer section of Friendly. I had never been out there before and I'll say that it's just a great place to be and a great atmosphere. Kirsten had brought along some weird, talkative friend named Kathryn. Yeah. Then we went to Ryan's softball game over at Carolyn-Allen Park and I also saw Josh Miller from Church and Jay, Ryan's brother. It was pretty cool.

Thursday was the first day of working out in a while. Ryan, Jayme and I met up at The Rush at Sportsplex at 10am and worked out for a bit and then chilled before lunch. We went to China Buffet for lunch and then went over to Bicentenial Gardens and walked around and threw the baseball for a while. It was so nice.

Friday we worked out again and Tony and Josh Cockman came this time. We worked out and then played horse afterwards and out of all people Tony won. Went back over to the newer part of Friendly and ate lunch at Jason's Deli. The place was new to me but it was pretty good. Next Ryan, Jayme, and I went over to Ben & Jerry's and had some ice cream. By the way at Ben & Jerry's I saw this girl that just absolutely gorgeous and probably one of the most gorgeous girls I've ever seen. But anyway. Went over to REI and walked around in there for about 5 minutes then went back to the Sportsplex because it was time for work. Basketball tournament. Ugh. You know, basketball tournaments wouldn't be so bad if everyone that attends them weren't such egomaniacal, disrespecful, unclean jerks. Volleyball tournements, on average, generally produce a much larger attendance, producing higher concessions numbers, and producing less trash on the floor. How that works out I don't know but it is a relief. But now that volleyball season is over, it's basketball tournaments for the rest of the summer. Bleh. Back to Friday. Work ended and I went home. And as soon as I pulled in my driveway Ryan called me and asked me to come stay the night at this house that he was dog sitting/house sitting for people that were out of town. The house is over in the Lake Janette sub-divisions so it's a pretty good sized house. The main reason he wanted me to stay over was because he said it was kind of creepy there all alone, which is understandable, especially in a big house. So I got over there at about 11 and we kind of just watched tv for the night and played with the dogs. By the way, the dogs were named Tater and Henry. Tater was a daschund and Henry was a mix of daschund and something else. Tater was so little! The legs were so little!

Saturday we woke up at 6 to get ready for work at 7. I wake up and the first thing I see is Tater come running and jumping on the couch that I was sleeping in and I was just petting him and he was licking all over the place. He was sooo coooool. We went to work. Go figure that when we get to work to unlock the gate, the swipe-card reader was not working. So we had to run in the side door, run all the way to the front desk, turn off the alarm then come out of the front door and use the swipe-card reader on the inside portion of the gate. Well work slowly but surely progresses and the basketball jerks come in. Me and Ryan worked concessions and there was this other new intern girl there named Jessica and she was in there with us. She was so boring and hardly said anything. It was kind of awkward. But oh well. We left at 1 and then went by Ryan's house because he had to pick up some clothes. Then we came to my house because I needed some more clothes and got my Xbox 360 to take to the house-sitting house.  We went back to the house and played 360 a little bit and just hung out. A little bit later Jayme came over and we watched some of Major League and then went to eat at CiCi's. Came back to the house and later on Ryan's girlfriend, Megan Smith, came over with Courtney Shore and we hung out some and then went to BlockBuster. Courtney was brought so her and Jayme could meet each other and possibly start something. We rented The Kingdom and came back and watched it. It was kind of hard to focus on the movie. I sound like an idiot but you can't help but feel kind of lonely when people are snuggling all around you and you're kind of left out. Sorry, but that is just my mindset. So the night progress and blah blah blah and everyone went home. Went to bed and then Tater came and got on the couch so that was cool.

Woke up this morning and worked all day and it was really stupid.
