First day at Brock
This is the start of my first full day at university.
I'm so excited that I got this computer working all by myself!
Yesterday my family drove me down to St.Catharines and helped me move in. All of my things fit nicely in my room and there is a lot of extra space. I thought the move in would be hectic and crazy but everything was pretty organized. I was all unpacked and set up within the hour and had a little time to say goodbye to my family before we had our first floor meeting.
Our floor mascot is the Tigger and we made up a cheer for the Vallee cheer competition "Tiggers got tail" yeah, it was fun.
I got to meet a lot of people at the floor meeting. Everyone seems really nice. Leslie is my neighbor, Heather is across the hall, Mary is her bathroom mate and Meaghan is mine.
Meaghan and everyone else seems really nice and so far we've all gotten along really well.
Our floor Don Katie is pretty cool as well. She seems really nice and fun.
After dinner and the cheer everyone came back to Vallee. In an hour almost everyone met in the front hall and we all went down to "Party at the Tower". It was a giant party outside at the front of the tower. There was a dj and a ton of lights and people. The bass was so loud you could feel it coming up through the floor (which was concrete) ha ha ha.
I slept really well. I thought I might get homesick but I don't feel worried or sick at all. I guess it helps to be surrounded by all of your stuff. ha ha ha
Today a bunch of us are checking out a vendors fair... free stuff is always good.
So far I haven't been able to send any e-mails. My hotmail won't work so I'll have to figure that out soon.
Other than that, everything is going really well.
I'm glad I'm here, Brock is pretty cool.
