Working at the Bus Wash!
I'm pretty tired so this will probably be short.
I started my new job this Monday. It's only been two days and already it's getting tirsome. Cleaning a hot dirty bus is pretty hard and boring. It also doesn't help that we're in the middle of a heat wave right now and reaching record high temperatures. It was 42C with the humidX today. 28C is about the temperature I like. It's not so bad in the morning when it's a little cooler, but in the afternoon when the sun is out and shinning right over top of us, it gets pretty hot and swety.
But once I get into the habbit of waking up at 6am I'm sure it will get better. Plus all the girls are nice and friendly, and working with Karen and Andrea is a lot of fun. It's like working at a giant car wash, with our buckets, soapy water, mops, brooms and sponges. After work we all went back to Karen's for a swim and it was nice. Today we baked cookies, washing, cleaning and swiming make you really hungry.
I think I'd like to get a new e-mail adress. I was thinking of sthomas39. It's nice and simple and a little more mature. The number at the end is my favourite # plus it makes it more original. Actually, I think I might like it better without the number. sthomas@hotmail.com
I'm excited about university. That's what the new e-mail is for... I needed a new one to give to the friends I want to keep in touch with when I'm gone.
I'm tired, yet excited and I have at least enough energy to finish this entry and stay up until 9pm and watch television.
