is this the end of Toboe?
I am full of more epic amounts of fail than anyone else!
Spilled a drink on my laptop today...to Toboe's credit he remained on and running throughout the horror. I quickly dumped the mess onto the floor 'cause hardwood can take the liquid better than my precious electronics. At my brother's suggestion I have the lappy resting on its side so what liquid might still be in there can drain and hopefully it'll dry and I won't have any major problems.
I'm not however holding my breath. As most [if not all of you know ] I'm not the most optimistic person. Which could be why when I bought this laptop all those years ago I decided to pay to have it fully insured with my parents insurance company. 'Cause whether we like it or not accidents happen and I was told when I got the policy that I could put a knife through the screen and they'd still cover it [or something to that effect]
So I'm still hoping that Toboe will continue to run fine after this attempt on his life. But if not I should be able to get myself the macbook I've been wanting. Which leaves me feeling surprising sanguine about the whole thing.
We'll see what happens tomorrow. Right now I'm borrowing my brother computer to post this.
And despite how I feel at the moment this Sammy icon fits the bill too much to pass up ^_^
