I'm not sure what I think of this new medication combination.
I'd have to say that for the most part when I'm at my baseline I'm 'Okay' this is a clear improvement on being depressed [I should clarify that 'Okay' is still depressed but I'm not in that black hole] But I've noticed that I become frustrated very easily, I figure this is a side effect of the Concerta since I don't recall this problem from the various times I've tried Prozac.
Unfortunately I've had a couple of seriously bad crashes since starting these two meds, both on the same day. But this continues to be an improvement.
I wish I knew why medications work differently for me than other people. In most cases I'm told that a new antidepressant needs 3 to 4 weeks to take effect. But in my body I can see a result one way or the other in a couple of days. I've been told by doctors that this is both impossible, and possible. All I can say is this is what I've noticed. When I started Concerta and Prozac together the immediate reaction was positive. Sometimes I wish this wasn't the case, it might be easier to deal with the failures if I don't ever get the positive reaction in the beginning.
*sigh*
Stupid body! *fist shake* I hate it so much!
