I'm excited for you to see the original movie. Just forget about comparing the characters to the show - especially Jack - and it'll be amazing, I promise. I wish the SG-1 crew had access to some of those graphics, wow.

As for the SG-1 movies... you might be confused. Not so much with Continuum, that's more or less stand alone. It involves an alternate timeline type of thing, lots of good Cam stuff in there. But you should probably hold off on watching The Ark of Truth for now, because it will spoil you and if you're on S7 you don't even know about the Ori yet!

Why don't I have a Stargate icon anymore, what is wrong with me.

I do know about the Ori ^_~ my friend neekabe spoilered me several months back when she wanted to show me some of her favorite episodes. I don't know everything about them but I think I may know enough. And I don't mind getting more spoilers, though I may recommend my brother not watch it. I'm not sure he's as okay with them as me ^_~

Just to make sure I'm thinking about the right people, they're the crazy preacher like people I believe some of them are called priers [or something like that?] Daniel becomes one of them for a while and tries to destroy the rest of the Gou'ald [or some enemy] before he turns back? That's all part of the Ori story right?

Yeah, the Priors, that's right. They're ascended beings, basically, and they like to think of themselves as gods. (Although they have more legitimate power than the Goa'uld.) And... do you know about Adria?

Not off the top of my head no, and I haven't seen many of the episodes involving the Ori, neekabe showed me some specific clips like Jack's confrontation with Daniel while he was still Merlin? was it? I don't think that's right but it's the first name that popped into my head. Could be because I just saw the first two episodes of the show Merlin ^_^ and loved it!
