too bright!

It was way too bright outside today, but I decided to go out and get some pictures of all our snow and the like since its starting to warm up a little and its melting.

I love my transitions lenses they go dark so fast in the winter, I think all the white snow helps with that. But even with sunglasses it was hard to see. Everything that was back lit by the sun wasn't just black but sort of red, which looks cool. Its too bad the camera can't pick that up.

I've always loved the look of this house, like something out of a fairytale

I think they must have done some work on this Inn, I don't recall noticing the work around the windows. But I think it's pretty. Oh and an interesting point. That church you see in the background was visited by Queen Elizabeth I believe, once while she was visiting Canada.

This picture I think is the only one I took that didn't turn out the way I wanted it, there were three evergreens which framed the war monument so nicely.

The Ganaraska river is very high right now, I can't say for sure if it's higher than usual in the winter, I'd lean towards no cause it looks odd to me. But I can't say I've payed all that much attention in past years [South end of town, looking south]

Same bridge [looking north]

I liked the low hanging branches

Can you see the ducky?

there's that old factory again, I don't know why I like that ugly old building so much ^_~

you can see my house

so there you go, it was shiny bright out there ^_~

I haven't managed any writing today, but that's not entirely unexpected for having finished a story. I've got chapter 7 for The Same Coin opened but like the last chapter this one isn't proving easy to write. It's a scene with a lot happening in it, which always makes things complicated. I need to decide what needs to be taken care of and how to separate Sam from Dean. I'll keep poking at it.

shiny, good times, pictures, new camera
