Stitch this mate!
I've started a new cross-stitch pattern, I have no clue if it'll turn out. But I'm really enjoying just working on it. I have the pattern open on my laptop and I'm using it for reference. I'm sure it would make more sense to print it off...but apparently I just don't work that way. I really enjoy watching those little Xs turn into an actual pattern.
Oh, and my kitty loves it [he likes to try and 'help'] Did you think of that Kate? If he's just sleeping in my lap there's no problem, but a couple of times he's woken up or jumped into my lap because he sees the threat moving. He makes it interesting.
I got to see The Next Doctor this evening, we all watched it together.
I knew that David Morrissey couldn't be the 11th Doctor, that would have been too easy [I can't see them revealing it that early]
I love the explanation for how he thought he was the Doctor, that he'd absorbed all the information on the Doctor. I also really loved Ten's reaction to meeting this man, it makes me want to write some sort of fic with both of them. It's not often the Doctor meets a man who knows so much about him. Jackson Lake's reaction to seeing the inside of the TARDIS [not to mention his own TARDIS] was just brilliant!
It all went by way too fast though, I didn't want to see it end and when it did I wanted to start back from the beginning immediately. But for the time being I'm satisfying myself with watching more of season one, presently we're on Father's Day
