My Doctor

As much as I hate to think that David Tennant is leaving Doctor Who, I can understand his reasons behind it. But would it be so bad for him to just say 'ah one more!' would have been amazing if he'd finished his time as 10 with a full season...*sigh ( Read more... )

Ehhh....welll.... I'm not particularly concerned seeing as I really didn't like those episodes, but it does pose continuity issues. *sigh* Oh well.

True, but I'll be curious to see how the specials work out. I have some issues with Moffat, but I won't go into that here. ;)

you can if you want too, I remember talking to you about those two episodes, but I don't remember if I asked you if you liked any of the other ones he's done.

I did like Blink a lot (it was the episode that hooked me on the series, ironically, but it was also the first full episode that I watched) and I do like the seasons 1 and 2 episodes that he wrote. It's just that he's said a TON of things in interviews and really didn't endear me to him at all. There was something at the end of season four where he said that the Doctor "had dumped the clingy girlfriend" (or something to that effect), and there were a bunch of interviews in the past where he said things about women that I really didn't agree with ( ... )

When it comes to Doctor Who or for that matter just about any show I watch, I don't know a thing about the writers [other than for some shows I think they're idiots ^_~]

I think when it comes to Moffat I'd like to remain in the dark. I can see what you mean about several of your points, I found the repeating Who turned out the lights, very annoying. But any repeating drives me insane.

I hope that his taking over doesn't ruin your enjoyment of the show, that would be really unfortunate. It's happened to me with some shows like The West Wing.

We'll see. The fact that David is leaving after the Specials will make it much easier to stop watching season five if I find it less than impressive. It is going to bloody HURT when he actually leaves, though.

We can always go to the Alt!verse where Ten II and Rose are having fantastic adventures. =D

I can very happily spend the rest of my time in the DW fandom in the Alt!verse. And good ol' fashioned Nine/Rose or Ten/Rose is always nice too. =D

I'd like them to do a little more than that, but they wouldn't have to show anything. I'm good with mystery
