lappy's back
Iz haz my external hard drive back! I've emptied a lot of my stuff onto it and freed up a ton of space. Lappy seemed to be running a little easier now, which makes for happy feet.
I explained my problems to the guy at Staples who gave me back my laptop, he was very nice, with a wonderful Irish accent [I could have listened to him all day] He told me there's a possibility that their tech guy backed up all my systems before ever sending the computer off to be repaired. I'm not going to get my hopes up for that, there's still two options left, there are data recovery programs that can recover about 90% of the information, I'd be more than happy with that. Then there's the companies that specialize in data recovery, but I don't think I can afford that.
Didn't really get any writing done, although I was poking at a Torchwood drabble I wrote a while back but was never satisfied with...still not sure if I am. I originally liked the idea but I don't know if it works anymore...blah! Oh well the last few days have been exceptionally good for writing so I'm not too disappointed at the moment.
I did go out today to take some pictures of the river and some macro shots of flowers that I found on the walk down, I'll post some of the pictures tomorrow, feeling really sleepy right now.
