I'm watching more Firefly with my brother, we're right now watching the episode 'Out of Gas' and I noticed that they made two mistakes when filming the flashbacks.
I wouldn't have thought anything of it if I hadn't watched the commentary on 'Shindig' where the costume designer Shawana Trpcic pointed out that the knot around Zoe's neck is a symbol of her marriage to Wash and that's why she's always wearing it.
Alright so back to 'Out of Gas' where the flash back in which Mal shows Zoe the ship, and she meets Wash for the first time she's wearing the knot...
