And it begins...
So school is starting to get unnecessarily busy. This week especially 4 tests, and one assignment... Reading week next week so that's nice but after that it's going to be a downhill spiral into no time for anything.
I have been home pretty much every weekend since the beginning of the year and I'm starting to feel it. I mean yea I'm working or whatever down there but same time it's a long drive twice a weekend, I am barely at my apartment (meaning it's chaos and not fully unpacked or clean). As terrible as it is when I'm home I don't get what I need to get done done either, it's always something with family or helping out or feeling obligated to spend time with friends etc. I can't afford to do this if I want to get into grad school.
It's been awesome Chris moved down to Mississauga last weekend and it's incredibly convienent because I know that when I go home I can swing by and see him. That said I need some time apart... ha ha not a bad thing. He's awesome, we're awesome but I realized I found it so much easier when he was away last year because I didn't have anything to shift my focus away from what I need to be doing. Now that he's back I want to spend time with him and see him and I find that I'm not getting enough done in the meantime. So that said after this week I won't be home again until my birthday... which i'm pretty excited about!
After reading week the lab starts full on. I have my lab key now so it's official I am a research assistant... and I'm also volunteering in the neuroscience lab (the one housing our actual animals) So I'll have meetings for each every week! Busy but so worth it if I get into grad school out at UBC!!!
Well I should get studying ha ha

ha ha Nipissing's having a bit of a problem with bears ha ha a cub ran out on the road on the way home ha ha sooo cute but not something I want to run into
