Shonen Club 04/08/2011
Cuts from Shonen Club 04/08/2011. All are AVI, 1024 x 576 resolution, all are on Mediafire.
A very diffrent episode from all the previous ones for obvious reasons. The tag-line of this (and the next) episode is "Bokutachi no Message" ("Our message") and it is of course about the current situation in Japan. Because of the jishuku the producers of Shonen Club didn't a recording at NKH Hall with lightnings and a screaming audience ( In fact they recorded it at the NKH Hall, but not in the main stage hall, and as you will see with a very reduced set/lightning). I think this was a very decent decision and to me the balance of being serious and delivering fun was successful.

Intro

Hey!Say!JUMP are greeting the TV-audience and explaining the circumstances of this episode as well as giving some toughts about the situation in general. When the "regular" shows will return, they will be hosted by rotating members of HSJ, but for the April episodes all of them are here. In this particular episode Arioka Daiki acts kind of as the "main" host, with the rest co-hosting.

Arigato - Sekai No Doko Ni Itemo -

HSJ performing "Arigato -  Sekai No Doko Ni Itemo - ". In the context of this episode the lyrics are seeming to be meant as a message to all the helpers and donators from Japan as well as from all over the rest of the world this time, but I'm not sure if that was intended. B.I.Shadow,HipHop Jump, TOY and some others (including Morita Myuto and Watanabe Haruki) are joining in backdancing.

NYC performing "Yuuki 100%". The message should be clear here, doesn't it? JaPAnese Hi! and Snow Prince Gasshoudan are backing up.

Hey!Say! BEST Special reel

The first not-so-serious part: The Hey!Say! BEST special reel, showing you early Shonen Club appearances of all their members. The talk part after the special reel is also included in this file.
Very nice! While Daiki and Inoo haven't changed at all (except for their height), I have to admit I wouldn't have recognized Yuya at all, if I didn't knew it was him..

Sekai ga hitotsu ni naru made

Morimoto Shintaro performs "Sekai ga hitotsu ni naru made" with JaPAnese Hi! and Snow Prince Gasshoudan. A very short but also a very emotional performance. I don't know exactley why, but Kurita Kei looks to me as if he has become two years older since the previous Shonen Club. That's just on a side note.

Hey!Say! 7 Special reel

Similar to the Hey!Say! BEST special reel this shows you early appearances of the HS7 members. To me this was even more entertaining than the first special reel. This file is also including the talk part afterwards, making it quite a big one.

Jr. ni Q

Jr. ni Q with Yabu Kota and Yaotome Hikaru as "KoyaMaru" and lots of Juniors, including Sato Shori, Kanazuru Hideki (his hair fascinated Yabu beyond belief), Tanimura Ryuichi (the bold boy who dared to compare Takki with a fruit-fly on "Johnny`s Touzai Uta Gassen"), Taniguchi Yuya, Matsushima Sou and others. I really liked to see Taniguchi and Yabu here togehter, since when I first saw him past year Taniguchi reminded me (and not only me) so much of the young Yabu..On an other note : Yabu and Yaotome did well here for hosting this segment for their very first time, but they definiteley have to practise that "Q" sign at the end once more....

JUMP Medley

Ending is the great "Big Band" JUMP medley from "Jump # 1". Backdancers are JaPAnese High, SPG, HipHopJump, TOY and B.I.Shadow. They are not all backing up at the same time. My personal focus stayed on Morita Myuto and Watanabe Haruki in this (once more..). At the beginning of the last part Myuto shows off with an extra piourette in the center of the stage, while Haruki enters on the right side. Both are very easy to follow this time since the formation stays stable (Myuto in center, Haruki on the far right corner behind Ryutaro and Hikaru), except for Kouchi Yugo , who was pulled to the front row by Yuto ( it seemed to his own surprise) during the "Fighting for my dream" part.

As said above: I think this was a very decent way to bring us a Shonen Club Episode at these times.
