Opening song is "Stand up (for the champions)" by Right Said Fred. Altough this song selled well all over the world, Japan was the only country where it gained the #1 spot of the single charts (in 2002), but that's just by the way. This version is performed by B.I. Shadow and Morimoto Shintaro with Snow Prince Gasshoudan and many Juniors in the back. Thumbs up for Stand up !

Hey Say 7 Medley
The Medley of this episodes special guests Hey! Say! 7 starts with "Ganbaretsugo!", during the next part "Kagayaki days" H!S!7 are joined by SPG and Shintaro, wich lead to some very cute moments between Yamada,Yuto and the Snow Prince members as well as between King Morimoto and Prince Morimoto Ryutaro and Shintaro. I love scenes like that :). The medley ends with "Arigato - Sekai no Doko ni Itemo" performed together with Daiki and Yuya.

Yell Medley
The "Yell-Medley" starts with B.I.Shadow taking on SMAPs "Ganbarimasho" in high-energy mode. Mis Snow Man performing "Will be allright" by KAT-TUN, HipHopJump are unwraping one of their classics with "Honey Beat" (V6) , Totsuka Shota performs the Junior anthem "Can do! Can go!" together with B.I.Shadow and HipHopJump and with SPG and maaany other Juniors in the back. The Medley closes with "Sakura Sake" by Arashi performed by A.B.C-Z with Yasui & Co. and Watanabe Haruki (and some others) in the back. Everyone in this medley seemed to really enjoy the performance and the result is very enjoyable for the viewers, too!

Rock Medley
Rock Medley consisting of "Fly" performed by Question? + Shonen Jump + Okamoto Keito, Yamada Ryosuke and Chinen Yuri (Okamoto Keito on guitar, Nakajima Yuto on drums!) , "3 Piece" performed by Question? and "Time zone", in wich the all the performes of "Fly" are joining in, again. I love it when Keito and Yuto are unwrapping their instruments! Even if Ishigaki Daisukes singing on "3 Piece" sounded a bit out of tune this time, this Medley is a great one! Speaking of the great one: Where the hell is Ryutaro????

"I-ZA-NA-I-ZU-KI" performed by Kentaro/Taiga/Casey/Noeru/Masuda/Takada/Ishikawa , the unit I latley called "Yasui &Co" here, just because after all I read or heard from the members I consider him to be the leader, altough for myself I call them "TOY" (Troops of Yasui), but no one will know who I'm speaking about when I write TOY...Other fans call them "Team Taiga", "Masudas group" and even just "The Others" (And Koyama announced them here as "Johnnys Junior"..well..that helps...). For this performance "Team Taiga" would maybe suit best, because Taiga was pretty much in the center of this performance. I liked especially the choreo in the beginning, before the actual song starts.
Very good performance but way too short!!

JUMPing Paradise
Highly entertaining JUMPing Paradise, this time it's a JUMP version of Jr.Colosseum again. The game is "Intro song quiz"
Highlights: Chinen giving Yamada a VERY forcefull bodycheck in order to reach the red knob, Chinen almost despairing about an Arashi-song (!!!!!) and of course: The winner (His second win in a row!)!

KIS-MY-FT2 Medley
Kis-My-Ft2 performing a medley consisting of "My love" and "Fire beat" with Question?. I liked the "Fire beat" part a lot better than the first part not only because of Question? but also because "My love" just bores me to death (Okay , that's an overstatement, maybe).

1 for You
Maybe the most interesting performance in this episode: "1 for you" is a new song by Morimoto Shintaro and HipHopJump. It reminds me a lot of "Arigato - Sekai no Doko ni Itemo" in sound, but it is not as catchy as it. It features a very interesting bridge with violin-sounds and nice raps by Tanaka Juri and is a real "Groover". Wich means not only it has cool grooves, but it is able to groove on you with every listen. The song won't stuck in your brain very easily I guess, but give it a few views/listenings. It's worth it!

And some other news that rocked my fan-world the past two weeks (but I was too lazy to post them) :
I knew about Kato Seishiro been added to the cast of the "Les Miserables" musical a month ago, but last week the cast was officially announced. Seishiro will play the role of Gavroche. If you are familiar with the story of "Les Miserables" you know that this means that there will be some very intense scenes for Seishiro on stage...I wish I could see (and hear) that. The Musical will run from April 12 to June 12 at the Teikoku Theater in Tokyo.
Director Yamazaki Takashi , one of my favourite directors will do a third part of my favourite movie "Always - Sunset on third street" starring my favourite actor Suga Kenta in the lead. Yaaay! I haven't seen that coming, since the second movie ended where the manga ended, too. So the new movie will have a completley new and original storyline. As far as I know, Yamazaki plans to make this third movie in 3D. It is scheduled to hit the cinemas in early 2012.
This picture is of course not from "Always" but from the Star Trek parody "Uchu Inu Sakusen", wich has finally been released on DVD in January.
My favourite guitar player Sungha Jung was on a releasing spree recently. This is not really new, because he releases songs every week, but in the past three weeks he took on some of my all time favourite songs like "Dust in the wind" by Kansas for instance. The following video isn't one of my favourite songs ("Sweet child o' mine" by Guns'n'Roses), it's just a good song..but what Sungha did to it is just plain awesome! Do yourself a favour and check this out!
