Embracing Ice: Chapter Twenty-Nine: And Twenty-Nine More
Okay, I've just finished writing this chapter, and by just finished, I do mean twenty minutes ago. I'm going to hold onto it for a few hours though. There's one scene that I'm not really happy with, and I had another idea for it...but I can't recall what it was at the moment. So, if I don't think of what it was by this evening, I'll consider it a lost cause and hand it over to Wiccan anyways.
I must say, Wiccan has been a real inspiration as far as continuing this story goes. Anytime I feel like just throwing the whole damn thing out the window, she's right there with her uber-happiness telling me to continue. Lol. I think we all need people like that. Since I've joined LJ, I've definitely felt more motivated. I like getting daily feedback from people who are waiting for the next chapter. And, its nice to be able to post snippets and gauge reactions. It also tends to keep me in the fanfiction world on a more day-to-day basis. Usually, I get really interested, then I tend to drift away after a chapter or two. So far, that hasn't happened. So yay! for dedication.
Aesop Challenge
This story is still going really well. I'm trying to throw in a lot of humor (something I usually don't see in Sess/Kag fics), and it also contains a lot problems that people tend to ignore when they want to get to the "happy ending" of the story. While it will be funny, I don't want anyone to assume that will mean that there won't be some depth there. This story is very dramatic and a little angsty. Its about two people who've had everything taken away from them and have learned to live in shells. Its also about how love leads you back to individuality.
So, I've finally come up with a title for my Aesop story: Like Peanut Butter. Lol. If you're going to have a funny story, why not give it a quirky name?
Feral Challenge: Ebony_silks
I've had a few people ask me about the inspiration for this drabble. It is a part of a much longer story that I do plan on writing. *Eventually.* In my master list of things I'm going to do, it comes after I finish From the Grave. It's going to be my very first, very angsty story. It's centered around Kagome, and how she loses her mind. It does have a happy ending (as all my stories do), but it has a much more personal meaning to me than many of the others I have written.

Once again, I am still updating this story, but it comes last. And, by last, I mean after everything else...even my Aesop challenge piece (which has kind of taken over my free time). Chapters for this will probably come out once every two weeks (like they have been).
