Nice. Interesting idea to have them secretly married, that hasn't been done so was a good original idea. Would they have been able to get away with it though? I thought that they wouldn't be able to apply for a marriage licence without CTU knowing about it, with them having access to all databases etc. Although I might be reading too much into it. lol

It seems almost sad as well, that they'd have been so restricted in their relationship, having to go outside the city just to spend time together etc. Would they even have been able to live together?

Obviously, they're happy and in love, but are they as happy as they would be if working anywhere other than CTU, or at the very least the relationship was made public earlier?

I do like though that it was kept secret from everyone including Jack. It's nice to see something where he isn't big buds with Tony and in on the secret. So, whilst they no longer have that animosity from before Season 2, Jack's not necessarily a "close friend" and is kept at arm's length. Unlike many people, I never really got the "B.F.F" vibe between Jack and Tony, the way I do with other characters I like. So it was nice to see something like this, where Jack is as in the dark about Tony's personal life as everyone else.

Must say that I'm surprised at Jack's supportive attitude. I'd have thought he'd be one of the first to say letting her be killed is worth it for the sake of the job.. After all, we've all seen that's pretty much his stance when just such a situation presents itself on the show in Season 3.

Hopefully they'll be able to save her, and she'll be able to help herself too,because we all know she's no pushover and helpless poor thing that so many fics present her as. So, hoping you'll continue this.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the show Scarecrow and Mrs. King from the 80s, but that's where I got the idea. I've been rewatching it and in the show he's an agent and they have to hide their marriage. I thought it would have been something to add a bit of depth to the couple that we didn't get to see much of in the actual show.

As for why Jack is so supportive, my Jack remembers what it's like to lose his wife. While they aren't exactly close, I do think Jack and Tony shared a special connection through what happened to them. He doesn't want Tony to feel what he had to feel. And it's Jack. He always has a plan to get everything to work.

I've thought about making this another story, so I might. But I got A LOT of stuff to do first. I got way too many damn ongoing stories, lol.
