(no subject)
New york was soooooo awesome! Totally chaotic too, though. I seriously don't think I've ever been as afraid for my life in a taxi as in New york. how do they not have one million accidents each day? A total mystery. Scott went earlier than me for business and then I went on Friday morning. Amazing. We had the best time and I got alllll kinds of attention (which we all know that I need)! It was funny because mainly the thing I wanted to do was eat and shop. But then it turned out that I'm really cheap and the stores there are really expensive so all I got was a pair of (very cool) sneakers. You would loooove them! Ohhhh it was fun!
but the foood....ohhhhh the food! It was soooo yummy! Scott and I went to a deli on Friday morning that had so much meat on the "sandwiches" that I couldn't fit my mouth around the whole thing. It was about 6inches high with meat, with a small, sad excuse for a piece of bread surrounding it! For serious. It made me feel a little ill looking at what other people were eating...
AND we went to about 100 bars on the Lower East side, wandered around central park and even saw Noah Wyle (from ER) at the children's zoo in central park - eeeek! A celebrity sighting!
Scott is basically the best guy ever. I really don't know how he manages to be so amazing. Photos will be uploaded to Flickr as soon as our internet at home works. Le sigh.
